Today's songs are 'Tip of My Tongue' and 'Barton Hollow' by the Civil Wars

Ok, so I did discover this song recently (thanks to a friend), and I have to say that it is my favourite at the moment! I’ve heard it around 60 times in two days—now that is dedication!

The Civil Wars are SUCH a great duo. This is the first song I heard of theirs and, as per usual, I think it’s the best one I’ve heard of theirs!

The melody is fluid, molten gold, despite it giving a slightly cold vibe. It is the sound of the simplicity of passionate and true love. It is simple, sweet and short!

There’s nothing more to write except PLEASE listen to it! It is not even 3 minutes long! Please, please listen and love!

Here I was thinking they were one of the underrated stars, when in fact, they have won two Grammys! They are a folk country duo and totally worth a listen. Their songs are like systemised conversations and although they look it, they aren’t actually a couple... Their song ‘Poison and Wine’ was featured in the hit show Grey’s Anatomy and is considered their “breakout song” which even Taylor Swift called “exquisite” and her “favourite duet” and included in her I-Tunes playlist. Their new single, Barton Hollow, is another GREAT song, which is catching on hype!:
