I think-- AT THE MOMENT-- Flyleaf is the greatest band there is. Obviously, my opinions on music change very frequently, but that is what I feel like right now (and I'm not even Christian!). I'm sure that throughout this blog, I'll be posting several Flyleaf songs. They even have a new album coming out in 2012. I am greatly looking forward to that as well!
The song is 'Treasure' and it is the 12th Track off their momentous second studio album, Memento Mori. The title of the album is a Latin phrase meaning "be mindful of death" or "remember you will die," which, I guess, is perfectly fitting as they are an American Christian Rock Band and many of their songs discuss life and death, religion, Jesus, or 'Yeshua', as He is called in this song, and pain, as well as many other topics.
In this song, just as any other Flyleaf song, Lacey's vocals are phenomenal! They are so raw and deep! Ah, I honestly wish I had better vocabulary to describe them. Just, please, listen to the song and understand my meaning yourself! It REALLY is worth a listen. And may I suggest, CRANKING UP THAT VOLUME LEVEL? This kind of music is best enjoyed LOUD! And what ever long term effect it may have on your ear, well, I personally think it's worth it! This music is audio-gold!

If you liked this, I suggest you listen to 'Circle' and 'Set Apart This Dream' by Flyleaf as well. They're all unique but similar in... an indescribable way.
